We are reading debates in our class from Scope Magazine and have to write about it.  This is what I think about toy guns. 

Most toy guns should be banned.  These Toy guns should be banned be because they could mistaken for real guns and if they are pointed at someone, they think it is real.  If this happened to a police officer they would be forced to shoot back.  Being shot for a fake gun is a waste your life for foolishness.  If you have a cap gun and you shoot it the noise from it sounds like a real gun and should be banned.  Paintball guns shouldn’t be banned if you have a proper place to play it in like a paintball field.  If you are running around the street with a paintball gun shooting things, then that would be wrong and could be very dangerous.  I don’t know why water guns should be banned because you are just shooting water at people.  Water guns are colorful and most of them are see-through.  BB guns are very dangerous because they go in your eye and make you blind and can even kill you if you shoot someone in the wrong place and that is just putting more killing in the world. Over 500,000 fake guns are flooding Britain and that is only in one port.  There are AK 47’s, Mac’s rifles and a lot of other types of guns.  In a school called La Cueva High School, someone was armed with a gun on the campus and the school was placed on a lock-down for several hours while police and swat teams searched the school.  Later on they found out that it was a fake weapon that caused all of the trouble.  A lot of people were fooled.  There are a lot of things that can happen with a toy gun and most of them are dangerous things and that is why most toy guns should be banned.
