Shark finning should be banned. Up to 26 to 73 million of sharks are killed every year and that’s a problem. 26 to 73 million sharks are being killed because of shark fin soup. There are more sharks that are being killed than being born. Sharks are endangered of becoming extinct. Shark finning includes a hot knife to slice the fins off when they are alive. They are dumped back in the water with no fins and they either bleed to death or suffocate and it is very cruel. By doing this they are threatening the largest ecosystem on the planet. The shark balances the ocean ecosystem and we are threatening them by slicing their fins off and killing them. One-third of all the shark population species is now threatened with extinction which will affect everyone. If sharks become extinct it will affect the ocean ecosystem. This is why shark finning should be banned
